The west-side restaurant operates at three locations along El Paso’s North Mesa Street—the original location at 1305 N. Mesa, another at 4119 N. Mesa and the newest location at 6600 N. Mesa.
Two of Lucy’s most famous dishes include the Machaca Plate and Tacos Antonia, named after Lucy’s sister, Antonia, who created the secret recipe. While the secret may be in the bag, what is known is when you dine here, the quality of the food is just as great as the family atmosphere and the service.
"El Paso is home, it will always be home."
That's what famed chef and television personality Aarón Sánchez is quick to say when people talk about his beloved hometown.
"I am proud to be from El Paso," Sánchez said in a phone interview from New York. "I get a lot of joy talking about mi tierra, my hometown. I'm always telling people where I'm from, where my roots are, where my foundation is."
